12/31
On the next window, select the relevant NE and set the required EOW phonenumbers.
8. NE Time SynchronisationIn Main Menu,Configuration Common Configurations NE Time Synchronisation
*We need to align the NEs so that they follow theT2000 server time (the server time will follow the time of the OS) . This is important for performance collectionand management.
9. Performance Monitoring Setting
In Main Menu,Performance Performance Setting Set Performance Monitor Start/Stop Status
7/28/2019 T2000 configuration&maintenance exercise.pdf
13/31
A new window pops up. Select the NEs required and simply open the 15-minute(high quality) or 24-hour (low quality) performance monitoring.
The start time should later than the NE current time.
10. Database BackupThis can be divided into NMS backup or NE backup .
For NE backup, simply backup the flash memory FDB0&FDB1.In Main Menu,Configuration Configuration Data Management Backup NE Database
7/28/2019 T2000 configuration&maintenance exercise.pdf
14/31
In the new window, simply select the NE that is relevant and back up the flash banks (FDB0 and FDB1)
For NM (i.e. T2000) backup, in Main Menu,Configuration Configuration Data Management Script File Import & ExportFrom here, just import saved T2000 configuration scripts. Or export the currentT2000 configuration script as a backup.
