Where new chapters are struggling
Areas we need to focus on:
D. Focus on Advisors Education1. Educate on operations at the Chapter and National Level.
Knowledgeable advisors produce knowledgeable chapters.2. Educate on their role and its importance. Teaching chapter
members, not giving the answers, creates an open and creative atmosphere.
3. Remind them that they are members too. Involved advisors are easier to approach.

Supporting a New Chapter Process
Time Period includes: The next two full Semesters/Quarters after Charter
A healthy new chapter should be able to accomplish in this time period:
● Pledge recruiting program of 6-10 weeks with a goal of 25% or more membership increase.● Membership retention program to retain 75% or more of the charter members enrolled on campus.● New elections, with a goal of shared leadership and leadership development with new members.● Service and Fellowship programs to continue● An additional (CPPC) Chapter Program Planning Conference. ● Continuation of activity with other chapters at intra-chapter/section/region/national events.● Completion of all requirements and reporting that are expected of Active Chapters.
The Sponsor and Sectional Chair will share in encouragement and support responsibility.The SC & Sponsor are to submit: one page summary of chapters progress, hi-lighting theseobjectives to the M&E PD during the month of Dec & May, at the completion of each of the
firsttwo full semester/quarters after the chapter chartered.
This will mark the completion of the Aftercare Process. There is no approval method for thisprocess, ability for any additional requirements to be levied, or status to be altered.
