SUMMARY
Diamond drilling was conducted on the Sudbury Contact Mines Ltd. property in Lundy and Hudson Townships, between November 27 and December 15,1997 on holes MR9-97-1, MRR-97-1, LM-97- 1 and MR25-97-1. This work took place on claims 1214324, 1205953, 1218000 and an optioned patent 14328SST respectfully. These claims and patent are all contiguous with the extensive MRA216 project claim group (overall claim and hole location map) within the Larder Lake Mining District. Diamond drill core logging was conducted between December 6 and December 19, 1997.
Airborne total field magnetic targets were tested in order to determine if they were caused by the presence of a kimberlite pipe. Two anomalies were caused by variable magnetic signatures in diabase and two anomalies were caused by increased magnetic signature in Huronian siltstone. The holes are summarized below.
MR9-97-1 Oval-shaped, medium strength magnetic high. No bedrock information. Angled hole @ -55 0 dip and 520 Az. 0-27 Overburden27 - 99 Huronian siltstone, MS^.2 as high as 12, Avg. 0.3. 99-103 Granodiorite, trace cpy, MS= 0.3 103-103.4 Siltstone as before.103.4-127 Variable textured diabase, MS^.6 to 10, Avg. 8, locally 0.1 127 EOH Anomaly explained.
MRR-97-1 Dumbbell-shaped low, occupying a topographic low swamp, surrounded by magnetic high diabase with MS=24. Angled hole @ -55 0 and 270 Az. O - 24 Overburden24 - 90 Variable textured diabase, MS=6 to 16 a high of 22, Avg. 10. 90 EOH Anomaly explained as less magnetic diabase.
LM-97-1 Flattened oval magnetic high, outcrops of Huronian siltstone, sandstone and conglomerate on either side with a low MS response. A small dykelet of brecciated mafic looking rock was observed at the base of the slope with a higher MS. Occupies a swamp depression. Vertical Hole. 0-22 Overburden 22 - 54 Siltstone (Huronian), Avg MSHX2. 54 EOH Anomaly not explained unless it is caused by a dipole effect off the cliff face.
W.A. HUBACHECK CONSULTANTS LTD.
MR25-97-1 The anomaly is a circular 250 x 300m magnetic high sitting off the more intense magnetic high diabase trend. Land option from private land owner. Vertical hole.0-20 Overburden, sand and gravel. 20 - 50.6 Firstbrook siltstone, MS^0.32 - 0.38. 50.6 EOHAnomaly explained as a slightly more magnetized siltstone 0.38 versus normal 0.23 MS.
No further work is recommended on these targets. The properties continue to be evaluated.
The coordination and implementation of the various technical tasks was conducted by W.A. Hubacheck Consultants Ltd., under the supervision of D. Christie and R. Knowles.

Overburden/Casinz.
Green, Mg-Cg, diabase, variable texture. Cut by Fg mafic/diabase dykes (sediment
appearance). Weak to moderately blocky with local broktti up sections. Chlorite
along fractures. Unit varies from Mg diabase to more feldspar rich coarse grained
section, contacts are gradational.
MINERALIZATION: Trace to 0.5* pyrite.
ALTERATION: Weak chloritization. Local weak epidotization.
STRUCTURE: Weak local banding/F, foliation.
