What to expect the first week of school at Rideau Park:~ First day (September 3), meet in the gym; look for signage about where to meet your teacher~ each day Gr 7's will be in flexible groups to meet different students & try out the schedules~ end of first week, students will give input about who he/she would like to work with. This will be combined with teacher observation to create the Homeroom groupings for the year.

(posted on webpage onAugust 21)~ order gym strip, if not pre-ordered by May 31~ learn how to access & find information Brightspace D2L, G-mail accounts, technology log-ins. The Grade 7 teachers will be helping students with this; however, trying out the various tech platforms at home to learn the features is recommended.

Students are required to attend regularly and punctually.
**E-mail the homeroom teacher when your child is absent. All email contacts on the website
If your child is absent and we are not notified you will get a message (phone or text)
Attendance is taken every period = 7 x daily.
Students are responsible for making up missed school work.
