Each computer is made up of parts that play an important role in how it functions every

time it is turned on.

Central Processing Unit (CPU)• Considered the Brains of a computer

Hard Disk Drive• The Stomach• Can store large amounts of data

Random Access Memory (RAM)• The Pulse• Where instructions and data are stored on a

temporary basis

Power Supply• The Heart• Supplies computer with electrical energy
