EXTRA PERFORMANCE TOGUARANTEED STANDARDS
The new Stelrad Softline range comescomplete with all the features expected from amarket leader and more. Combining the mostsophisticated production resources in Europe, with substantial investment directed towardstesting and verification of performance data, has resulted in the creation of a high outputCompact radiator for heating performance thatexceeds expectation.
Strictly controlled independent laboratorytesting ensures that all Stelrad Compactradiators are guaranteed to perform to amaximum working pressure of 116 psi (8 bar)and conform to BS EN 442 - the EuropeanStandard for radiators.
As a measure of the all round dependablequality and performance, the Stelrad Softlinecomes complete with a 10 year Manufacturer'sWarranty.
SUPERB QUALITY FROMDESIGN TO INSTALLATION
The elegant, beautifully curved top grille andend panels, have been specifically designed toeradicate any movement, providing a tight, professional fit, that will remain in place, even after storage, transit and installation.
As you would expect from a radiator with theStelrad pedigree, the convectors are precisionwelded directly onto the waterways for greaterefficiency and economy, with flexible connec-tion options for the highest of commercial anddomestic application specifications.
Every radiator comes wrapped in robust, practical packaging that will keep the productpristine, right through to hand over! Protectivethrough storage and transit, the new packagingdesign also allows installation prior to removal.
With beautifully curved top grille and end panels, the New Stelrad Softline compact radiator is themould-breaking next generation compact from Stelrad.

General TECHNICAL DATA
TEMPERATURE TABLETo apply the factors shown in thetable below to our quoted outputs, multiply the quoted output by thechosen operating factor to give newoutput.
To apply the factor to requiredoutput, divide required output byfactor to give correct radiator fromthe Stelrad Softline range.
TESTING AND OPERATINGPRESSURESAll models are high pressure testedto withstand 152.3 psi (10.5 bar),to perform at a maximum workingpressure of 116 psi (8 bar) at amaximum temperature of 95°C.
CAUTIONWhen designing for domestic systems we recommendthat the Softline range be used only in heating systemscomplying with the British Standard Code of Practicefor Central Heating for Domestic Premises BS 5449Part 1.
Single feed, direct cylinders are not recommended asshould interchange of water occur, fresh aerated waterwould enter the heating system, resulting in corrosion.
INSTALLATIONEverything required for installation can be foundwithin the robust packaging. Brackets are of a strongdesign, with open top and deep slots, which facilitateeasy and secure installation. Plastic inserts seat theradiator precisely on the bracket minimizing expansionand contraction noise.
The neat nickel-plated plug and vent provide awatertight joint, whilst complementing the superiorfinish. To facilitate easy one off replacement, nickelplated brass extension pieces are also available, complete with sealing washer, in 20mm, 30mm and40mm options. Recommended height from the floor tothe base of the radiator is 150 mm minimum. Thisallows adequate airflow when the radiator is placed onthe bracket.
WATER TREATMENTOn completion of the installation the system should beflushed and filled in accordance with the British
Standard Code of Practice for theTreatment of Water in Domestic HotWater Central Heating SystemsBS 7593.
This will remove flux residues andinstallation debris, which might promotecorrosion and damage within the system.
If it is decided to apply a corrosioninhibitor to maximise the working life ofthe system, it should be applied in accor-dance with the manufacturer’sinstructions and should be suitable forthe particular metals within the system.
