Since its founding Renaissance Electronics Corporation (REC) has been dedicated to the
advancement of RF, microwave and millimeter wave technologies, innovative component
design and development of sophisticated wireless products. With the recent acquisition of
Harmonix or HXI, the company is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Renaissance. HXI supports
the defense community and industrial/commercial industries with fully integrated assemblies,
millimeter wave components and advanced radio products. REC now offers more research,
design and engineering capabilities and solutions for integrated RF/microwave hybrid modules
and subassemblies employing SMT or chip and wire assembly techniques plus an expanded line
of best-in-class high quality and high performance mixed-signal subsystem/system products.
Realizing the present demand of reducing the cost and design time without sacrificing reliability
and performance, Renaissance can now custom design and manufacture highly specialized
RF/microwave components such as frequency synthesizers, switched filter bank front-ends,
receivers, transmitters, etc. over the entire frequency spectrum from a few kHz to 110 GHz.
The REC/HXI joint capabilities now include COTS or customized solutions for Defense, Space,
