Eight months into the current conflict the situation in South Sudan continued to deterio-rate. The rainy season is underway increasing the risk of diseases, including cholera. Hunger and malnutrition are also on the rise with millions of people facing emergency levels of food insecurity. Over 1.5 million people have been displaced from their homes.
