Delete all Records Button
(B-53051)
The toolbar now contains the new button for deleting all records currently queried in the
selected block.
If the block contains some records that cannot be deleted (for example, the record is defined in
the product group and the user is logged into a project), then these records will be skipped.
Warning messages (except for cascading delete) will be displayed for each affected record.
Case-insensitive Query
(B-53052)
The aim of this user story is to allow query operations in the screens to be case-insensitive. For
this purpose, the new DBA setting CASE_INSENSITIVE_QUERY is introduced with the values Y
and N. If this setting is set to Y, the query operation is case-insensitive. If this setting is set to N
(default), the query operation is strictly case-sensitive.
This feature was implemented for the following screens:
A.20.49 Approval Sequence
B.20.01 Edit BOM
B.20.03 Adv. Maintain BOM
The Delete all records button has been added to the toolbar to allow you to delete all
queried records in the selected block of the screen.
The case-insensitive query has been implemented to allow you to search for text strings in
the database, regardless of whether upper or lowercase characters are used.

User Security Creation
(CR-MA13152)
When creating a new project, the user securities for this project are created by copying from the
current login project for all existing users that are present/active in the current login project. The
prerequisites for copying the user security records for the new projects are:
- The Active check box of the record to be copied must be marked
- The role assigned to the user must be SUPER USER or the role that is assigned to the project
default ZX_SUPUSER
Highlighting Role Menu Item Details
(CR-MA14127)
You can copy a role using the Copy Appl Roles Menus button or using the F6 (New Record)
and F4 (Duplicate Record above) buttons. This now copies also the assigned alerts on the
Alerts tab and the detail settings on Window 2 of the Role Menus tab.
A menu item will be displayed with a red background color in the Menu Item field on the Role
Menus tab of the A.30.03 Roles/Menus screen, if detail data exists on Window 2.
The menu item A1023 in the picture above is highlighted with a red background color. Double-
click in the field to open Window 2 to view the detail settings of this menu item.
Administration

Truncate History Log
(B-51964)
The main purpose of this user story is to automatically create the backup for the usage history
log for the days prior to a specific value, that is, the previous date until which history logs need to
be maintained. The software deletes the usage history log from the A.60.83 Usage History
screen for the days prior to the previous date.
The days for which the Usage History needs to be maintained can be specified against the new
DBA setting KEEP_USG_HISTORY on the A.60.04 DBA Settings screen, with a value set to 0
by default, which indicates that the Usage History is maintained forever.
Specifying a positive value for this setting indicates the number of previous days for which the
Usage History will be maintained. For example, if the value 5 is specified, the usage history shall
be maintained for the past 5 days.
You can now define how long the usage history is maintained.

Allocate Number of Licenses to Project
(B-51965)
The purpose of this user story is to allow administrators to specify the maximum number of
licenses a project can use.
For this purpose, the new Project Licenses block has been added on the A.30.04 License
Modules/Menus screen.
Here you can assign the maximum number of licenses a project can use for a particular license
module.
Whenever a screen is opened, the check is made on the number of project users accessing the
licenses module to which the screen belongs, and if the check is violated, then the screen is
closed after showing a message.
You can now define a maximum number of licenses a project can use.
Administration

default is set to Y, the not issued specifications will not be displayed on PDMS 10.02.
PDMS Interface Re-Design
(B-52181)
As part of the PDMS interface re-design, the following was done.
While generating SpecCon file from the PDMS 10.02 Create PDMS Spec-File screen,
when two PBORs (for example, PBOR0 and PBOR1) are checked and if there is no
value specified for the INPUT_2 of the corresponding specification, then the INPUT_1
value is considered as the value for INPUT_2 also.
You can specify the order-by criteria within the GTypes now. For this purpose, the new
Sort Order in Gtypes button has been added on the PDMS 10.02 Create PDMS Spec-
File screen. You can click this button to open a new window where you can specify the
order preferences of the attribute codes used in GType configurations. The contents of
the generated SpecCon file will be ordered according to these preferences. The order

Several enhancements of the PDMS interface have been implemented.
SmartPlant Reference Data
SmartPlant Materials and SmartPlant Reference Data Release Bulletin 15
The new project default ZI_PDMS_SN has been introduced. If this project default is set
to Y, the ‘Add’, ‘Delete’, ‘Modify’, and ‘New’ specification files are merged into a single
specification file. The merged specification file name is prefixed with ‘mer’. The content
of the merge file is structured as following.
$* Piping specification File for all items
<< new specs >>
$*
$* Piping specification File for additionally inserted items
$* ----------------------------------------------------------
<< inserted specs >>
$*
$* Piping specification File for modified items

SP3D – Export Result Improvement
(B-52787)
On the SP3D 20.01 Export Jobs screen where the export results are displayed, any column of
the sheet data now has two new pop-up menu items.
“Go to Attr Config” brings you to SP3D 10.07 Sheet Configs, auto-querying the configuration of
the attribute where the cursor is located. The same logic will also be available if the fastcall to
SP3D 10.07 is used from any of those attribute fields.
“Find Value Source” brings you to the source where the value was defined. So far, this feature is
only implemented for template values coming from SP3D 10.08 Templates.
Piping Class Report Modification
(CR-MA14100, CR-MA14101)
On the parameter list of the S.50.R.10 Piping Class Index and the S.50.R.11 Piping Class
reports, the input parameter ‘Company Code’ was replaced by a similar parameter called ‘MY
Company’. This was done because many reports use MY Company to show that they print the
name of their own company.
If a company logo is defined on the G.10.01 Company Symbols screen for the selected
company, this company logo will appear on the right side of the heading for this report.
The export result screen provides two additional pop-up menu items.
The My Company parameter can be used on the Piping Class reports to select the user’s company. If a company logo is defined, it will be printed on the report header.

(B-52117)
A new user interface has been added on the Idents screen of the Component Manager. Here you can enter tag number details to a corresponding ident code
(B-32359)
The commodity code layout long and commodity code layout short fields are now shown in the commodity code grid. By default, the fields are displayed, but you can customize them so that they are not displayed in the grid.
(B-32356)
Filter function implemented on specs.
Previously, you could not display revision options and project options in the SPRD Plus filter as in the Forms UI. With this user story, this feature was introduced in SPRD Plus. To implement this feature, the Display toolbar button was added in the main toolbar of the spec designer with which user can filter on various criteria.
(B-34333)
Till now, if the attributes assigned to object parameter details are not a subset of attributes assigned to the table, an alert appears with the message ‘The Geometric is not valid to the object’. This validation was removed to have the same functionality as in the classic forms UI.
(B-36435)
Color and Description of branch table.
Assigning color to parts in branch editor and configuring text in the cell was enhanced. The following options can be configured in each cell:
Group / Part [Default view]
Short Description of Part
Short Description of Branch Table Assignment
The new project default ZS_BRD_CFG has been introduced. It controls the visual presentation of branch details in SPRD Plus. The following are the three valid values:
B - The branch details view is configured to show the short description of branch table details.
G - The branch details view is configured to show the group/part view.
P - The branch details view is configured to show the short description of part. This is the default value.

When the mouse is moved to a particular row of the COF dialog box, any error message on the tooltips of that row will be displayed on a new label control at the bottom of the dialog box.
(B-53037)
The unit is now set automatically while creating a new spec item from the project default ZS_UNIT_SI.
(B-53040)
The From/To LOV values in the spec item grid will now display values exactly (with the format) as in the classic UI.
(B-53041)
Now the user can assign any valid size range to a spec item in SPRD Plus as in the classic UI. The values of From 1 and To 1 need not be taken from the LOV. You can manually assign any valid size range.

The new project default ZS_CC_LOVS has been implemented to redirect to the corresponding commodity code LOV spec item grid. The following are the three valid values for the project default:
C - Classic LOV
N - Special LOV
S - Simple LOV (default)
(CR-MA8613)
The spec header geometrics in the spec editor now show data in the sorted order.
(B-29724)
The search in the LOV will be performed in all columns (only text columns) if the search string starts with the % character (the wildcard for any string). The following are assumptions or constraints with this feature:
1- Each column will be searched with criteria “CONTAINS <Search String>” or in other words “%<Search String>%”. An example %Sam means searching for LIKE ‘%Sam%’
2- Only the columns with character data will be included for search.
3- In this particular case, the search will be case insensitive, meaning Asd, aSd, or ASd are all the same. Please note that in other cases when search is done only in the lookup field, it is case sensitive, that is, Demo will not match DEMO.
(B-32831)
When creating new records anywhere in SPRD Plus, the Control Status field contains the default value 1, if applicable.
(B-36433)
Support all UDFs on Commodity Codes
The user defined fields (ATTR_CHARs and ATTR_NUMs) are now displayed as in the classic Forms UI on S.30.01. This feature prevents attributes from being lost when copying commodity codes.
(B-32542)
While attaching “Product Form Part dependency” to a part that already has a dependency, an error message comes up saying a part cannot have multiple dependencies. After canceling the changes, when going back to the Component Group Item Grid, the Edit button was disabled. This has been revised, so the Edit button is enabled now as expected.

It is no longer necessary to enter a geometric for a specification item in SPRD Plus to be able to enter size ranges in the From and To fields, This applies to the size ranges 1 to 5. With this change, the behavior in SPRD Plus and on the S.50.06 Specification Management screen of the classic UI is identical.
(B-56828)
If you open the grid containing real numbers, they will be displayed as per the local setting. For example, the real number 4.4 is displayed as 4.4 if the setting is “en-US” or as 4,4 if the setting is “de-DE”(German).

Performance Improvement in MAV
(B-59361)
Generation of new articles and update of articles in the multi article view was taking more than
the expected time. This behavior was more visible for those classes with a greater number of

FLC Enhancements
(B-45221)
1) Changes for Config Item fields Value and Default
General changes:
You cannot enter any value in the Value field where it’s not applicable, that is, for items GUID,
IGNORE, NODE_LEVxN, POS_CC, POS_CG, POS_CP.
Values are allowed for the items NODE_ATTR, POS_ATTR.
Specific changes:
POS_ISTAT: This setting is on the node level. If the first row belonging to a node does not have
a value for the issue status set, then the value from the import job is taken. An LOV has been
implemented in the Default field for the POS_ISTAT item. If a value is entered in the Default
field, it will be applied to records where a value for the issue status is missing.
POS_LSTAT: Setting on the position level. Added necessary functionality to import processing.
POS_QTY: Value or default is taken, depending on what is filled. Value has priority.
POS_ITR: Is already filled by the CIP M_PCK_OMI_CUSTOM.omi_set_item_type.

Tender Periods
(B-52261)
The new project default ZP_TND_PRD is used to consider the tender periods of inquiries if it is
set to Y (default value is N).
The tender period begins with the approval of the inquiry and ends with an entry in the Bid Due
Date or Revised Bid Due date fields if the dates do not lie in the future.
If the tender period of an inquiry is active and ZP_TND_PRD is set to Y, you cannot open the
following screens from P.30.11 Inquiries for this inquiry:
P.30.22 Commercial Evaluation
P.30.23 Technical Evaluation
P.30.24 Download/Load Bids
Furthermore, there are four new fields on the P.30.11 Inquiries screen:
No. of Bidders - Number of bidders of the inquiry.
No. of Started Quotes - Number of bidders of the inquiry that started quotation.
No. of Finalized Quotes - Number of bidders of the inquiry that finalized quotation.
Tender Closed - Indicator whether tender period of the inquiry is closed.
The new project default ZP_TND_PRD was implemented to control if the tender periods of
inquiries are considered.

Equipment Approval User
(B-54859)
The approval user defined on the CMS Details tab of the S.30.01 Commodity Codes screen for
a commodity code of type ‘Commodity Template’ is shown on the Line Items and Ident Values
tabs of the P.30.23 Commercial Evaluation screen. The TE Passed check box on these tabs
can only be set when the current user is with the same as the approval user defined for the
tagged item or when no approval user is defined at all. The standard SmartPlant Materials
security functionality for setting the TE Passed check box still applies.
Free Form Entry of Progress Payment Events
(B-51966)
The creation of progress payment events on the P.30.27 Bidder Quotation screen is possible
even if the bidder does not have permissions to create new progress payment event codes on
P.10.31.
The approval user assigned to ‘Commodity Template’ commodity codes will be displayed on the P.30.23 screen. The TE Passed indicator can only be checked by this user.
Bidders without the permission to create new progress payment event codes can now enter
new codes on P.30.27.
MSCM

The bidder can use values for the code and optionally enter a description that is not defined on
P.10.31 Progress Payment Events. After entering the unknown code, a message appears as
displayed in the picture above. After confirming the message, you can also enter the short
description and description.
After saving, the new progress payment events are stored only for the selected quote summary
but are not available for selection from the LOV.
When creating an order from the quote summary, these progress payment events are
transferred to the data of P.10.31 and afterwards are available to all users of the project.
Before PO Creation CIP
(CR-MA14194)
The new CIP m_pck_po_custom.before_poh_creation is now available. This CIP runs each time
a new agreement is created. If this CIP raises an error, the agreement creation process will be
stopped.
The new CIP m_pck_po_custom.before_poh_creation has been implemented.
MSCM
SmartPlant Materials and SmartPlant Reference Data Release Bulletin 51
By default, this CIP does not execute any code.
Get_PO_Status CIP
(CR-MA14977)
The new CIP get_po_status is now available in the m_pck_po_custom package. This function
can be used by the m_pck_config_custom package to return the status of an agreement and
display it in a CIP field on the P.50.01 Maintain Agreements screen.
Negative Prices
(CR-MA13925)
By default, negative prices are not allowed for agreement line items or schedules of values on
the P.50.07 Maintain Agreements screen.
But if you set the new project default ZP_NEG_PR to Y, negative values are allowed.
ZP_NEW_POS
(CR-MA14254)
P.50.07 Maintain Agreements now takes project default ZP_NEW_POS into account when
adding requisitions to an agreement. In detail, adding a requisition with ZP_NEW_POS set to Y
and the Summarize Line Items check box ticked on window 7 of P.50.07 will result in new sub
positions being created for material that is already found on the agreement cycle. When
ZP_NEW_POS is set to N, the quantities of the existing line items are simply increased.
The new CIP m_pck_po_custom.get_po_status has been implemented.
Depending on the setting of project default ZP_NEG_PR, you can enter negative prices on
agreement line items.
When you add new requisitions to an agreement on P.50.07, the creation of new sub
positions is now controlled by the project default ZP_NEW_POS like it is on P.30.01/.02/.04.

Residual Costs Check
(CR-MA14293)
The new project default ZP_CHK_PPE was implemented. With this project default you can
control whether residual costs will be checked on the Prog Pay Events tab of the P.50.07
Maintain Agreements screen when you approve an agreement.
If ZP_CHK_PPE is set to Y (default), the agreement cannot be approved if residual costs
remain. If ZP_CHK_PPE is set to N, no check of the residual costs is performed while approving
the agreement.
Order Date
(CR-MA14873)
When approving an agreement on the P.50.07 Maintain Agreements screen, the order date is
now filled with the approval date and no longer with the value of the First Delivery field.
New Check Change CIP
(CR-MA14000)
The new CIP CHECK_CHANGE_SG has been added to the package M_PCK_EXP_CUSTOM.
When applying any change on a shipment group on the P.70.31 Shipment Groups screen, this
CIP is executed.
A new project default was implemented to control if residual costs are checked when
agreements are approved.
The order date of an agreement is filled with the approval date when approving the
agreement.
The new CIP m_pck_exp_custom.check_change_sg has been implemented.

Milestone CIP Changes
(CR-MA14217)
The parameter lists of the CIPs m_pck_ms_custom.sample_fnc and
m_pck_ms_custom.calc_actual_date_master have been enhanced; the package body contains
an updated description of all existing parameters.
Furthermore, the default implementation of the latter CIP now returns the minimum among all
existing actual dates of the detail milestones related to the milestone for which the function is
called (instead of NULL).
You can now assign contacts to the potential bidders of the requisition planning.
The milestone CIPs sample_fnc and calc_actual_date_master have been revised.

We recommend first to export milestone labels using the provided Excel file Milestone.xls and
then to use the exported Excel sheet as a template for the import.
For further information, see the online help of P.60.03.
Update Planned Requisition
(CR-MA14876)
The P.60.03 Requisitions Planning screen now generally allows for updating the requisition
number/name of a planned requisition, even if that planned requisition is already linked to an
engineering requisition, inquiry, and so forth.
You can update the name of a planned requisition even if it is linked already.

You can decide whether to proceed or not.
Automatic Planning Entry Creation
(B-54945)
1. The new project default ZP_PE_CRT has been introduced to control the behavior of
automatic creation of planning entries on the P.60.01 Tagged Items Planning screen
whenever a new tagged item is created on the BOM screens.
When the value for this project default is set to N (default), there is no planning entry created
on P.60.01. When the value is set to Y, a corresponding planning entry is automatically
created on P.60.01 for every tagged item created in the BOM module.
2. The new function get_ms_val and the new procedure set_ms_planning_date have been
added to the CIP package M_PCK_MS_CUSTOM.
Using the function get_ms_val, you can return a milestone set with which the planning entry
will be automatically created. By default, this function returns that milestone set that is
marked as ‘Default’ on the P.10.62 Milestone Sets screen.
Only milestone sets with single phase planning are considered.
The procedure set_ms_planning_date allows you to define the planning date for the initial
milestone. By default, the procedure uses SYSDATE (system date). All the other planning
dates for remaining milestones are calculated and filled automatically.
Project Default ZP_HIDE_MT
(CR-MA12782)
If the project default ZP_HIDE_MT is set to Y, the internal shipment group is not displayed on
the P.70.61 Logistics Overview screen just like on P.70.31 Shipment Groups.
A new project default has been introduced to control the behavior of automatic creation of
planning entry.
The project default ZP_HIDE_MT controls whether the internal shipment group is displayed
on P.70.61.

P.80.51 Traffic Fast). If the means of conveyance cannot be deleted for any reason, an error
message is written to the online log file/error log.
It is no longer possible to define the same BOL (bill of lading) number twice for the same means
of conveyance.
