Some data about sweat
Composition :
- Water (99%)- Electrolytes (Na+, Cl-, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ ),- Small molecules: lactic acid (pH 3.8 et 6.5), urea, sulfites…- Hormonal peptides - Medicines- Heavy metals (Co, Hg, Mo, Sn…) and other xenobiotics (drugs…)- Proteins (albumin, Ig (A et E), prolactin, catalase…)
The sweat is an ultra-filtrate of the blood-plasma
The ecrrine sweat glands, in contact with blood capillaries, establish a filter
Good candidate for non invasive analysis

The monitoring of the dehydration in real timehas been identified as an user requirement. In extreme conditions, the dehydration can occur very quickly and the consequences can be :
Black-outMuscular weaknessIrritabilityComaConvulsionsDeath
In the literature, the follow-up of different parameters is described :
Internal temperatureSweat volumeConcentration of Na+ in blood
Concentration of Na+ in sweat
