INTEGRATED DECLARATION
Submission of data at one entry point
Information contained in Customs declarations will be re-used by PGAs.
Formats for import and export declarations will be updated with additional requirements.
NSW Data Set - data will be filed at a single point (ICEGATE) as an ‘integrated declaration’.
Trade does not have to approach different agencies and file different forms/ checklists. Separate applications will be dispensed with.
Will cover clearance-related applications, declarations of PGAs.
Not an application for a license or permit.
AUTOMATED ROUTING
Upon filing, declarations will be routed automatically to concerned agencies
Presently, it is based on CCRs and a manual decision of the Customs officers
Concerned agency will process declarations on ICES module,
ORTransfer of required data to PGAs own system
Will be managed by the “PGA corridor”, as part of the Risk Management System

Supporting documents to be dematerialized progressively
Routine printouts at Customs to be eliminated

For all Licenses/ Permits/Certificates that are issued electronically
Referred to as a ‘supporting document’
Accessible by ICES/ ICEGATE
Document issuer transmits data to ICES or permits online access to its database.

Note:Customs is not involved in the issue of licenses permits and certificates.
EVENT NOTIFICATION, TRACKING & SCHEDULING
Trade to receive integrated status notifications for regulatory and logistics events
Source systems of Customs, other agencies, Custodians, ports etc ‘push’ update notifications to a common platform
Platform publishes - trade and transport actors subscribe to notification updates
Platform also receives tracking facilities for vessels, trains, vehicles, containers
GPS & RFID based tracking services and sensor inputs to be integrated into the platform
Notified events to trigger the next activity.
