Olga Sahraoui flower designer and founder of
SAHOLA Floral Art & Event Design in NYC, for
who fashion is the main source of inspiration.
Flowers are her passion since early childhood, but
she attributes her honeymoon trip to Marrakech,
Morocco as the force behind her drive to become
a floral designer and artist. It was here that she
visited Jardin Marjorelle, a garden designed by
French artist Jacques Marjorelle and later owned
by Yves Saint Laurent. She was amazed at the
beauty of the garden and the variety of colors
and flowers.
OlgaSahraoui
With a special inclination towards floral
designs, she naturally developed an eye
for details and artistic flower combinations.
She enjoys working with clients who
appreciate beauty through floral design
and its unique application. She is also
fascinated by the science behind flowers
and how flowers boost positive emotions.
Olga was inspired to study floral design
internationally, from New York to the
Netherlands, to give her broad experience
and unique insight into how the industry
works. Challenging new ideas, unusual
materials and personalization is important
to Olga. She has a creative flair and stylistic
approach that helps bring her customer’s
vision to life through flowers.
New York is all about fashion and design. Draw YOUR calla inspiration from fashionable untamed beauty of floral designs inspired by New York City, created by American florist Olga Sahraoui.

I love callas. They are very popular in New York City and stand out among all varieties of flowers as one of the most modern and bold flowers.

Which way?
NYC brides love to have callas in their bridal bouquets combined with roses and orchids. They give a nice modern twist to the overall design.
The common use of callas in New York leans towards grouping them in a flower arrangement. We don’t use callas as a single flower too much in New York. Our customers like monochromatic looks, so we try to stay in the same color spectrum while designing for them.
