A shrink wrap tunnel is designed for one purpose only, to shrink PLASTIC around / to the product passing through it, for further packaging / distribution. The belt must run for 5 - 10min after the heating elements have been turned off. This ensures the tunnel has time to cool down so that the PLASTIC belt is not exposed to excessive heat for an excessive time frame, resulting in premature belt failure.
