Hey Key Clubbers!! How is school going for all of you?
The month of September is finally over.. I hope you all
did amazing during the first grading period! Lets look
forward to all the amazing things that the month of
October gives us like Halloween, candy, the joy of
dressing up and key club events like FALL RALLY NORTH!
But until then, lets look back at all the amazing key
club events we did in September(: Have an amazing
month!
-Rachel Tan Key Club Vice President 2012-2013
Key Club International has 3 partners in service: UNICEF, Children’s Miracle Network, and March of Dimes. UNICEF assists children’s needs through primary healthcare, basic education, safe water, and sanitation in more than 150 developing countries. Key Club’s and UNICEF’s goal: to eliminate Iodine Deficiency Disorder from the globe and to protect the rights of children.
Hello Key Clubbers! I don't know if you've noticed, but our board is not full yet. We have multiple positions that are open for you to join! This is a great way to become immersed in Key Club, and is a good way to get to know our board. If you don't make it or think these positions aren't spirited enough, than go for the Division Task Coordinator Positions. Don't worry if all of this seems interesting to you. You can apply for multiple positions in the Division, but you will only be able to do one of those jobs. The division will help you pick out which position you'd be suited for. Sign ups will begin soon!
P a s t E v e n t s Barcode Fundraiser
20% of all of their profits went to Light the
Night, an organization that helps fund cancer
research. I hope you guys all went there and
ordered something, whether it was a drink or a
snack.
Innvision This event is a truly special event
that changes how you will view
things. You will see how much you
have compared to the unlucky ones who
don't have money to put food on the
table for their families. It'll warm
your heart knowing that you are
helping them greatly. I hope that you
will all get a chance to go to.
.Innvision.
Regional Training Conference Not only do you learn more about Key
Club, you will learn many useful
skills. This is a really great
opportunity to learn some leadership
skills that will not only help you in
Key Club, but will help you succeed
elsewhere in life. You get to have fun
with other Key Club members and you can
dance around a bonfire. This is another
event that you should really go to
whenever you get the chance. 2nd Annual Safety Resource Fair and Movie
Night
I don't know much about this event,
but I assume it's a rewarding event in
its own right. You set up children
activities in Cataldi Park. Not only
do you have the chance provide
children with joy, but you are doing
it in a rather nice park. I hope those
who went enjoyed it greatly.
CMF Craft Days These events were good. You sat around a
table help making crafts that they'll
eventually use for the upcoming Chinese
Moon Festival Event, and you got to talk
with friends, as long as you were working.
Some people also helped set up stuff around
the building, but overall it was calm.
