People often ask so here is the answer Yes we do have spots available on our hunting lease If you are inter-
ested talk to Karen and she will give you all the details Of course the biggest advantage of hunting here is that
you get to camp at Triple Creek Texas where you will incur all the comforts of home and then even more Just
remember those wonderful Hunters breakfasts that Ms Audrey makes so very early to get you a great meal
Spots donrsquot open very often so take advantage of this opportunity NOW

We have been asked recently if we are going to have a stage show or a jam on weekends We always
strive to have a stage show We prefer our musicians on stage so they can all be showcased However we
never know who is going to show up or how many musicians will be here
Summer time is always slow but come the winter the Snowbirds come in as well as the locals There-
fore when the days get shorter and cooler you can almost bet that wersquoll have more and more stage shows
just like always
Thursday nights are always going to be a jam session These are the nights that people are learning and
practicing After all a jam session is a musical
act where musicians play (Jam) by improvising
without extensive preparation or predefined
arrangements Jam sessions here at Triple
Creek are often used by musicians to develop
new material find suitable arrangements or
simply as a social gathering an communal prac-
tice session Its these Thursday night Jam ses-
sions where Floyd practices his new love songs
as he looks in his Patriciarsquos eyes and sings to
her Its also in these Thursday night sessions
where people that are learning an instrument sit
in the circle for the first time
So come out on Thursday nights for the jams and then look forward to the returning of all the musicians
for the Friday and Saturday night stage shows
Stage Show
Or Jam
Which is it going to be tonight
You can thank the work
campers for all that they
do as well They are all
a big help to keep Triple
Creek RV the wonderful
place we all enjoyhellip
THANKS
Just a reminder that our WiFi comes in via satellite
We are limited in the amount of files that we can

consumes more than their share everyone in the

So what did we do at Triple Creek we ate
Thanks to Floyd and Bobby we had this

more flavor
Floyd and Bobby got up at 330 to get the pit
fired up and ready for our guest Then at
430 out guest was put on the pit Floyd
tells us that he had it marinating the entire day before and his
secret is not only in his ldquoCome Backrdquo sauce but its also in his
marinade All we know is that this turned out to be one really
great meal and it was enjoyed by all
Floyd amp Bobby we hope you do this again for Thanksgiving
and Christmas It would be good for New Years Day too
Robert and Lynda removed this couch from their

The Winnrsquos and their family have supported
TCRV for years and are wonderful hosts
Winnaway is a great getaway for people who want to take time to
get back to nature Their Cottage is small but well equipped with a private bath kitchenette and a big fire-
place It has two queen sized beds and has dish network and high speed internet You have access to a
pond for relaxing fishing or canoeing They have over 40 acres to hike with beautiful trees and a creek that
runs through it Whether you need a place to stay while you are working in our area or a weekend to catch
your breath they will be happy to provide your lodging needs
Our Wi Fi Its just part of our family
Triple Creek internet service is provided by satellite service from HughesNet The HughesNet service is pro-
vide through a set of share resources These resources must be shared across all HughesNet customers world
wide In order to protect the quality of service Hughes implements a Fair Access Policy to ensure that heavy
users do not take an unfair portion of the shared bandwidth
Triple Creek has the Commercial Account an has the largest amount of data (in bytes) which can be
downloaded by a subscriber without restriction within a rolling 24-hour period As anyone at Triple Creek
downloads the remaining allowance is depleted
HughesNet Fair Access Policy is implemented automatically by monitoring usage over a rolling 24-hour period
When our 24-hour access exceeds the allowance we enter the Recovery Zone and download speeds are drasti-
cally reduce During this Recovery Zone the Download Allowance is slowly replenished and after approxi-
mately 24 hours download speed is restored
Here at Triple Creek we all use the same system Therefore if one person consumes all the available resources
then all the users will experience very slow internet speed for 24 hours
So here is what you can do to contribute
1 Online activities such as checking email and viewing Websites are unlikely to cause us
to exceed our Download Allowance so please feel free to access the internet for your
use
2 Streaming music videorsquos and pictures will most certainly consume our Download Allowance Please do not
do this except during the off peak hours from 100 am to 600 am
3 HughesNet gives us a ldquoDownload Zone in the off peak hours from 100 am to 600 am During this time
we can download data at full speed without counting against our Download Allowance This can be done
with a Download Manager where you automatically schedule your system This can be found at

A Perilous Hobby Vertical Camping
Next time yoursquore passing by a cliff and happen to see a precariously hanging tent with campers inside donrsquot be alarmed its just a portable ledge (portaledge)
Portaledges mdash or deployable hanging tents mdash might seem like a thrill-seeking activity (and it can be) but the idea has actually been around since the 1950s During this time rock climbers began to stay overnight on the mountains they were scaling and started looking for convenient niches in the mountain side to make their bed
The first portaledges were use in Yosemite National Park
and were non-collapsible cots or hammocks Climbers
would sit on a Navy surplus canvas chair and rest their

History In 1882 Matthew Maguire a machinist first proposed the holiday while serving as secretary of the CLU (Central Labor Union) of New York] Others argue that it was first proposed by Peter J McGuire of the American Federation of Labor in May 1882 after witness-ing the annual labor festival held in Toronto Canada
Oregon was the first state to make it a holiday in 1887 By
the time it became a federal holiday in 1894 thirty states
officially celebrated Labor Day Following the deaths of a
number of workers at the hands of the US military and
US Marshals during the Pullman Strike the United States
Congress unanimously voted to approve rush legislation
that made Labor Day a national holiday President Grover
Cleveland signed it into law a mere six days after the end of
the strike] The September date originally chosen by the
CLU of New York and observed by many of the nations
trade unions for the past several years was selected rather than the more widespread International Workers
Day because Cleveland was concerned that observance of the latter would be associated with the nascent
Communist Syndicalist and Anarchist movements that though distinct from one another had rallied to com-
memorate the Haymarket Affair in International Workers Day All US states the District of Columbia and
the territories have made it a statutory holiday
Labor Day is an American federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September (September 3 in 2012) that celebrates the economic and social contributions of workers

The Winnrsquos and their family have supported
TCRV for years and are wonderful hosts
Winnaway is a great getaway for people who want to take time to
get back to nature Their Cottage is small but well equipped with a private bath kitchenette and a big fire-
place It has two queen sized beds and has dish network and high speed internet You have access to a
pond for relaxing fishing or canoeing They have over 40 acres to hike with beautiful trees and a creek that
runs through it Whether you need a place to stay while you are working in our area or a weekend to catch

Page 5 Tr ip le Creek RV Music Park
We are limited in the amount of files that we can
send amp receive in a 24 hour period If one person
consumes more than their share everyone in the
park will experience slower speeds for the next full
24 hours We continue to push the maximum limit every day Please feel
free to check your email and search the web but downloading very large
video and audio files consumes our daily allotment

Its Labor Day at Triple Creek
So what did we do at Triple Creek we ate
Thanks to Floyd and Bobby we had this
wonderful roasted hog Floyd even supplied
us with his ldquoCome backrdquo sauce for even
more flavor
Floyd and Bobby got up at 330 to get the pit
fired up and ready for our guest Then at
430 out guest was put on the pit Floyd
tells us that he had it marinating the entire day before and his
secret is not only in his ldquoCome Backrdquo sauce but its also in his
marinade All we know is that this turned out to be one really
great meal and it was enjoyed by all
Floyd amp Bobby we hope you do this again for Thanksgiving
and Christmas It would be good for New Years Day too
Robert and Lynda removed this couch from their
RV Its For Sale As you can see from the pic-
ture its in great shape
If yoursquore interested in looking at it this couch is
located in the shop here at Triple Creek Yoursquoll
have to deal with Robert and Lynda on the price
but Irsquom sure they will make you a great deal
When I was moving this to take a picture of it I
noticed that it does fold out to make a nice bed

History In 1882 Matthew Maguire a machinist first proposed the holiday while serving as secretary of the CLU (Central Labor Union) of New York] Others argue that it was first proposed by Peter J McGuire of the American Federation of Labor in May 1882 after witness-ing the annual labor festival held in Toronto Canada
Oregon was the first state to make it a holiday in 1887 By
the time it became a federal holiday in 1894 thirty states

number of workers at the hands of the US military and
US Marshals during the Pullman Strike the United States
