POSITION PURPOSE
The Assistant Laundry Manager is part of the Support Services Department, supporting and reporting to the Senior Environmental Services Coordinator, and Campus Environmental Services Manager whilst managing and coordinating the daily laundry functions across the Private Hospital and Precinct clientele base, which includes the St. Vincent’s Private, Select St Vincent’s Public Hospital departments, St Vincent’s Clinic, Sacred Heart Health Service, Kinghorn Centre, and associated contracts within the Precinct. The department consists of over 25 staff with an annual budget of over $2 million.
The department services 323 Private hospital beds, and multiple external affiliated organisations within the Darlinghurst precinct including SVHS, SHH, SVC, VCCR, and The Garvan Institute to affiliated organisations within the Darlinghurst Precinct.

SELECTION CRITERIA
ESSENTIAL REGISTRATION, LICENCE, OR QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Commercial Laundry Experience in a large property or Laundry. Minimum of two years of prior experience in Laundry Management or Supervision

Lead/extend the Environmental Service casual staffing pool to ensure adequate numbers of suitably qualified staff to support all services across campus.
