Summary Statement: Please provide a brief description for how the analyzed data will impact your Inquiry and Action Planning process.The Nevada Report Card shows that in 2015-2016 Arbor View had a graduation rate of 89%, that compares favorably with a state rate of 70.77% for the same time period. That also represents a 3.7% increase from the 2014-2015 graduation rate of 85.3%. Of the current seniors who will graduate in June, 46% are on track.
Of the 3075 registered students 508 are enrolled in AP classes. 7.9% of those are Asian. Blacks are underrepresented as they comprise 14% of the student population and only 7% of the AP students. Caucasians are over represented as they represent 48% of the student population and 55% of the AP students. Hispanics comprise 19% and multi-racial 9% of the remaining AP students.

HOPE 2 Intervention
Focus of Intervention:Students who display negative behaviors will be placed in in-school suspension, with a certified teacher, to avoid loss of instructional time. Students who display behaviors that require an alternative placement will be placed in the Star On behavioral intervention program for a period of 15 school days. Students will receive instruction from a highly qualified teacher as well as behavioral support from the school social worker. Students who have not made sufficient academic progress will be required to attend tutoring and parent conferences will be scheduled as an intervention.
Monitoring Plan:The four grade level assistant principals will monitor student performance and track data related to interventions for students in each grade level. The deans' office will track the students that are placed in In School Suspension as a behavior intervention. The deans' office will track student attendance at mandatory tutoring and student academic progress.
Evaluation Plan:Data from Infinite Campus, as well as student grade distribution reports will be utilized to determine if the funds impacted student behavior and academic progress.

1.2 Family Engagement (Required) Continuation From Last Year: Yes NCCAT-S Indicators: Students' progress will be monitored by administration and an intervention counselor. Parents and guardians will be contacted when student performance declines or attendance issues arise with their student.
Each of the four Assistant Principals were assigned a grade level for progress monitoring and data collection. The Assistant Principals will work with an assigned intervention counselor to monitor student performance and provide interventions for students, and communicate with parents. An additional counselor position was allocated through the flex budget.
The Assistant Principals are responsible for collecting grade specific data related to student performance. The intervention counselor will track students on his caseload to determine if the targeted interventions have made a positive impact in student performance.
The Assistant Principal over curriculum will collect intervention data and provide quarterly updates to the administrative team.

Department coordinators will organize teacher collaboration groups. Money was allocated within the flex budget to provide $50,000 for extra duty pay to compensate teachers for collaboration time that falls outside of their contractual obligation.
Teachers will create curriculum maps and pacing guides to align instruction. Assessments will be created collaboratively and the student performance from both summative and formative assessments will be used to drive planning to meet student needs.
Administrators will conference with teachers to discuss the planning meetings, administrators may also attend planning meetings as available. Department coordinators will ensure that teachers sign in and report hours for extra duty pay.
