Full body strength training

Jingle Bell Jumps (Burpees)

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS:

Holiday Guacamole with White Beans

1 15-oz. can white beans, drained and rinsed1 ripe avocado1 tsp. minced garlic½ tsp. salt1 T. lime juice½ tsp. cumin½ tsp. chili powderDiced red bell pepperChopped fresh cilantro

Blend first 7 ingredients in a food processor to whatever texture you prefer – smooth or slightly chunky. Stir in red bell pepper and cilantro. Enjoy with your favorite dippers!

Transfer to an airtight container. Should keep for a couple weeks.

Squat down to the depth that you’re comfortable.

Place your hands on the ground in front of you, and then place your feet back behind you one at a time.

Once you have stabilized in the top portion of a pushup position, place your feet back forward, until your knees are beside your elbows. Push back until you are flat footed in the bottom squat position.

Press your feet into the ground until you are standing again.

GET FESTIVE!

The mild flavor and creamy texture of white beans, such as Great Northern or navy, make them a good companion to avocados in this heart healthy, high fiber recipe. Beans are used to replace additional fats to reduce calorie content. Enjoy with veggies, baked chips or crackers!
