Features Description Benefits
868MHz Transceiver narrow band transmitting frequency
Operates in 868 MHz with only a 25KHz band range Less susceptible to interference and enables a greater range
Transceiver Technology 2 Way communication ensuring all messages are receivedLow battery consumptionNo lost messages or activations with the ability to receive arming confirmation on the key fob
Fully encrypted rolling code All system messages are fully encrypted Prevents hacking. Stops substitution and grabbing
SAW Filter implementation Filters out redundant frequencies Only the correct information is recognised
Advanced jamming detection
Detects high level of RF, but if not recognisable reports jamming Minimises risk of false jamming reports
On-board programming buttons and LEDs
All programming is undertaken at the expander. LEDs show zone and function in use Simple installation and maintenance

Signal Strength IndicationThe on-board LEDs clearly indicate the signal strength and enable simple installation of this hybrid wireless system. This means that prior to installation, the optimum locations can be identified for the KX12DW detectors and the MX-RIX8DW to be mounted.
Simple Learning Mode By simply using the learnt button and the appropriate zone button on the MX-RIX8DW, the detector is learnt. The same process is used to delete detectors using the delete button. Confirmation of the process being completed clearly indicated through the use of LEDs on the MX-RIX8DW pcb
