Rolatube is often requested to develop bespoke solutions for customers. In order to enable the company to understand such requirements swiftly customers are asked to complete a short and succinct paper focussed on the following Technical and Commercial questions. We encourage maximum use of drawings and diagrams which are very effective in showing concept of use, where the Rolatube will sit within the overall product or system and where forces and so on are applied.
Technical Questions:
1. Concept of Use: What is it and What is it for
2. Concept of Operations /Employment : What does it need to be able to do and how will it be employed. (please maximise technical specifications and
use diagrams where possible)
3. Concept of Operating Environment: What is the environment in which it will be used, are there any special considerations we need to understand
4. Concept of Wider Environment: Any other contextual detail that will be relevant to the selection and deign of the product to meet your
requirements.
Commercial Questions:
1. Launch Date: What is your product launch date
2. Customer Internal Product Acceptance Programme: What are the key milestones / gates and timelines of the product development programme
and what internal approvals are required
3. Funding: Is the programme funded
4. Quantity of Rolatubes Required During the Development Phase: How many rolatubes to expect to procure for your development phase
5. Volumes and Timescales: What quantity of units do you expect to procure during the development phase and then in year following product launch
and what delivery schedule (my time and quantity) will you require
