Tire Pressure
You can improve your gas
mileage by up to 3.3
percent by keeping your
tires inflated to the proper
pressure. Under-inflated
tires can lower gas mileage
by 0.3 percent for every 1
psi drop in pressure of all
four tires.

Tire Pressure
Low tire pressure will
change the way your car
turns corners, brakes
and its overall steering
ability. In addition, a low
tire pressure can cause a
blowout, leading to an
accident.

ticket. These are strategies to help avoid
getting a speeding ticket. This is not a
guarantee you will never get a speeding

Driving While Drowsy
Adults between 18-29 are much more likely to drive while drowsy compared
to other age groups.
Men are more likely to drive while drowsy. Men are almost twice as likely to
fall asleep while driving .
People tend to fall asleep more on high-speed, long, boring, rural highways.
However, those who live in urban areas are more likely to doze off while
driving compared to people in rural or suburban areas .
Most crashes or near misses occur between 4:00 – 6:00 a.m.; midnight –
2:00 a.m. and 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. are also peak times for crashes to occur.
