From our humble beginnings Rainbow Fashion Week (RFW), received the highest form of
recognition by New York City’s Mayor Bill DeBlasio, proclaiming it an “Annual New York
City Pre-Pride Event,” because RFW supports emerging brands and helps to create
economic opportunities for emerging talent within the fashion industry.
Our primary initiative is to increase access for Gay fashion designers, models and other
supportive talents to ensure their future inclusion within New York’s creative pool who
demonstrate the “art of fashion.” Therefore, unlike any other fashion event, RFW
welcomes the newest faces to fashion, and will position our “living out loud and proud”
models, designers, stylist and fashion professionals firmly within this every evolving
industry.
From the kick-off, our events are produced to be eye dazzling, incorporating new trends,
ideas, technologies, presenting these movers and shakers in elegant spaces. Our approach is
expressive with a full body of colorful movement.

Rainbow Fashion Week:
June 19-26, 2015 is a full week of exciting events with a media blitz kick-off, offering our
sponsors a plethora of opportunities that focus on trendsetting events within the fashion
community and beyond. RFW’s goal is to provide you a keen market with a sophisticated
palate seeking fresh, new alternatives to touch, feel and purchase the latest in fashion style.
Our events offers great opportunities for corporations to partner with RFW to promote your
brand and increase awareness of your products or services. Each day will offer a new and
different type of fashion event that will attract thousands from across the New York
Metropolitan Area.
These events will focus on the “art of fashion,” and all of the talent it takes to get designs on
and off the runway, but we don’t stop there. Each event is tasked with a social responsibility
such as anti bullying, domestic violence, same sex marriage and trans-justice which offers
potential sponsors additional outlets to reach one of New York’s fastest growing communities
and organizations.
Our grand finale fashion show and after-party will culminate and include RFW's Australian
Sister Partner “HOUSE OF BLING,” along with product activation and pop-up retail
opportunities.

Hence the creation of RFW events such as:
Fashioning For the Cure: Laughter and friends can enrich our mental health. Our call to action
is with the very first “Mobile Fashion on Wheels” where Independent Elders are glammed up
and transported to our many events.
Urban Knights: A designer’s night of Couture Fashion where the sky’s the limit and anything\
in between, witnessing the marvel of creative fashion genius.
Painted Faces: Five Top “Maquilleuse” as the French call them create facial masterpieces
borrowing from several disciplines ranging from the Orient to France and the animal kingdom.
Queer Kids Next Door: Embracing the word “Queer” for our “at risk LGBT Kids who are
bullied and taunted giving them one-night to hit the catwalk running.
Rainbow Tots: A rainbow of multi-cultural tiny tot designers, models, entertainers,
photographers hosts and more assembled together bringing you pint sized fashion to the runway.
Inside the Celebrity Closet: Hot Celebrity stylists, bring their finds to our fashion lair, where
an array of international and domestic stylists and MUA’s compete for prizes and more.
