The angle of the photo and the formation of these Blue Devils feature a linear function through the center of the horns, for the most part.
Another real world linear function is the side of this skate board until it curves into a rough parabolic or almost circular function at the head of the skateboard.
This piece of the microwave features a parabolic function. Something difficult about applying this picture to geometer’s sketchpad was the fact that the point of inflection went beyond the picture.
