About Reach For A DreamReach For A Dream is one of South Africa’s most respected and widely
recognised charities.
For the past 24 years, RFAD has been fulfilling the dreams of
children between the ages of 3 and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-
threatening illness.
RFAD’s many purposes are to take the focus off the disease and create a fun
space where the children can flourish.
About the Reach for your Slipper campaign
The Reach For Your Slippers campaign is designed to raise awareness around
RFAD, while also raising funds for the organisation.
Consumers pay R10 for a RFYS sticker which entitles them to wear slippers to work
on RFYS Day (3 August 2012).
Organisations, businesses, schools and colleges can take part by purchasing ‘Slipper
Stickers’ for staff/students.
Businesses can also purchase additional stickers to sell to customers.

NATIONALLast year’s RFYS campaign generated R250 000 in KZN
alone.
Due to the excellent results from last year’s regional
campaign, RFAD would like to take it nationally.
Last year the campaign was supported by the Sharks and
East Coast Radio.

personalities such as Miss South Africa, Siphiwe Tshabalala and
many more.
WHAT ARE WE TRYING TO ACHIEVE
WITH THIS YEAR’S CAMPAIGN?
The creative work needs to talk to everyone from school
kids to corporative executives and everyone in between.
The aim of the campaign is to go bigger and better than last
year, creating awareness on a national level for this cause,
and thereby, driving long-term support.
