Henan Province, the cradle of Huaxia civilization and one of the birthplaces
of Chinese ancient culture, is China’s most populous province with a total
population of 105 million.
In the year of 2014, the GDP of Henan exceeded 3.2 trillion Yuan, ranking
first among the regions of Midwest and fifth in the whole country for many
years in succession.
Henan Province is the important grain production base, energy and raw
material base, modern equipment manufacturing base and high
technology industry base.
Henan has built up economic and trading relationship with more than 210
countries and regions in the world, and ratified 11,510 foreign‐direct
investment enterprises, and there have been 81 of world top 500
enterprises and a batch of multinational corporations settled in Henan.
The capital city of Henan province, Zhengzhou city, is the most important
cargo transportation center of China, and the Zhengzhou Airport Economic
Comprehensive Experimentation Zone, is the forerunner for airport
economic development to be the national strategy in the country.
