THE popular Tin Hare will takepassengers for a ride back in timewhen it returns to Gloucester for theChill Out Festival this Saturday.
The Tin Hare was a name given tothe first lightweight rail vehicles thattransported passengers on a regularbasis.
These trains had a welded under-frame with a wooden carriage andfirst appeared in the 1920s.
Currently, there are only 10 of thesetrains in operation in NSW.
The Tin Hare will do three scenictrips from Gloucester Station toBundook, following the BarringtonRiver.
A free shuttle bus will operate fromthe Denison St amenities block, trans-porting passengers to the GloucesterStation at 10am, 12pm and 1.15pm.
Tickets for the vintage ride are $12for adults and $6 for children, and canbe purchased at the VisitorInformation Centre or by calling 65581408.

NOMINATIONS FOR DIRECTORS:
The Fit & Proper Policy of Holiday Coast Credit Union requires that each candidate for a Member Elected Director position needs to demonstrate independence & possess the skills that are being sought for this current electoral cycle. Skills being sought this current electoral cycle are:

Directors Ross Gilshenan & Kristal Kinsela retire this year having completed their respective appointed terms; both have indicated they will be seeking re-election. In accord with the Constitution the 2 highest polling candidates will be elected for a 3 year term.
Call for Nominations: Eligible members meeting the required competency requirements are invited to nominate as a candidate for election to the Board of Directors.

In accord with the Constitution the Director Nominations Committee, by reference to the current Board approved Fit & Proper Policy, will assess all Candidates. Holiday Coast Credit Union Ltd Constitution is available for inspection at Registered Offi ce of the Credit Union, any branch, or online at www.hccu.com.au.
The original Nomination Form, duly signed as required by the Constitution, must be received by the Company Secretary at the Registered Offi ce of Holiday Coast Credit Union before 4:00pm Friday 15 August 2014. Late, incomplete or faxed copies will not be accepted.
A ballot will be held providing the number of eligible candidates as determined by the Director Nominations Committee exceeds the two positions to be fi lled this year.
Mrs Lyn Murphy has been appointed Returning Offi cer by the Board of Directors.

WELCOMED by a dumping of snow on the Tops,the annual Chill Out festival will take place inGloucester this Saturday.
The day is jam packed with events and activitiesfor the whole family, including a massive slide forthe kids and wine tasting for the adults.
From 9am, 66 stalls will line the main street offering food, clothing and a variety of items.
Chainsaw racing and post stripping will replacethe wood chop this year, providing some excitingentertainment.
The popular Canine Capers dog show returnswith a new agility test, while Car Torque willappeal to all motoring enthusiasts.
For the kids, the much-loved snow pit is back aswell as free face painting, balloon sculpting, rides
and the Science Challenge. The donut eating competition is not for the faint of heart, withnumerous age categories and all monies donated tothe Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
The famous Tin Hare train will be back inGloucester for the festival this year and will makethree trips.
Local businesses will also be showcasing theirgoods with great deals throughout the day.
The festival will begin at 9am, with activitiesconcluding at 3pm.
