The Key Trends In The Mobile Space That Are Dominating The
Indian Mobility Scene.
According to IMAI, Total Online Ad Spend (FY 2011-2012) INR
1,750 Cr Total Online Ad Spend (FY 2012-2013) INR 2,260 crore
in 2013.
Majority of the ad spends went to search, followed by display
and social media Indian online advertising market is projected to
reach 3000 crore by march 2015.
In INDIA 81% of India’s population uses Mobile Phone 10% use
Smartphone 9% use Multimedia Phone 3% use Tablets according
to Nielsen.
The total number of mobile phone users in India is estimated to be
900Mn.
In India, the penetration of internet capable mobile devices is
higher than the actual mobile internet users.

market, fixed Internet or Wifi is the most popular among mobile
internet users.
In India, 3G connections have been slow to pick up, with just 35

market, especially in the advertising space.
77 % of people in India have up to 30 apps on their smartphone;
with men download 93% and women 87%.

capture in a very little time frame.

base.
It also contributes to the proliferation of 3G users in India.
