Service and products for potable water and waste water management, industry and environmental technology
MTA researchs and develops technology for the water and waste water industry, producing technically innovative products for the benefit of the industry since 1985.Prior to the activities with MTA Mr. Marko Taferner was acting for an internationalconsulting company working across Europe where he gained experience and awide knowledge of water supply and waste water disposal systems.
MTAnot only provides services such as leak detection but also offers and developsinnovative specialized services, appliances, products and measuring devices
such as MTA is a leader in technology for thespecialized problems that occur in the water and waste water industry such asreviewing and rating of water supply and waste water disposal networks, includingthe evaluation of systems, profile measurement for operating companies of wastewater disposal systems, waste dumps and various other consumers or operators.
Though based in Austria we export around the world with partners in Germany,Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Slovenia.
MTA focuses on top quality products and services. Therefore MTA is very muchcommitted to leading edge research and development.
The realisation of the EPC European Pipeline Centre was one of our businessobjectives which was opened in July 2006 and is now a unique project within theEU. More than a million Euro have been invested in this centre to allow thecontinued leading edge research, development and training.
The European Pipeline Center is equipped with 2.500 m over and undergroundpipes of all materials, including all types of pipe defects. So it is possible to simulatealmost any possible practical situation for professional training in a controlled andsafe environment.

RegistrationData5
The GSR and PSR data logger families measure and register different quantities such aspressure, level, flow, temperature... Power supply is adapted to the application site. It can begrid, battery or solar powered. According to their construction we distinguish compact loggersand loggers with dislocated electronics. Data transfer may be local, networked or wireless.
Data oggers GSR 120NT and GSR 120NTGL
The GSR 120 logger family consists of two data loggers: type GSR120NT which measures and registers levels (or pressure) andtemperatures and type GSR 120NTG, which in addition to level(pressure) and temperature measurements records also theconductivity of the media (water). They are characterized by a compactstainless steel immersion housing, battery or external power supply, communication connection RS 485 and the possibility of connecting aGSM modem for wireless data transmission.

Data oggers GSR 1 0NT and GSR 1 0NTGL 3 3
The GSR 130 logger family ist similar to GSR 120, but the GSR 130logger measures and registers absolute level (pressure) and thereforeneeds no vented connection cable. The Data logger GSR 130NTmeasures and registers level (pressure) and temperature, the GSR130NTG measures and registers level, temperature and alsoconductivity of the media (water). The ata logger is descended with anordinary cable-rope at a suitable place in a well and fixed at the top The
ata logger has to be taken out of the water for data transmission.

The recorded data is automatically and economicallytransmitted via internet to the TELEKOM AUSTRIAdata processing centre, which guarantees highest possibledata security and availability.
Using the online mode, measurement data or graphs can bemonitored in real time without installing any additional software.
An alarm function when limit values are exceeded sends a SMSor email message ensuring swift action.
Data can be displayed in a diagram or chart as optionally asdaily, monthly or yearly trend curves. All records can beexported as unencrypted plain text in CSV format for backuppurposes or further data processing.
WCS - Water Control Systems® Data Evaluation
In the transportation of water from sources to end consumers some water always gets lost.
Any significant deviation means an additional loss of water.
This means high costs because of expensive electricity used up to pump the water, the necessity tonew resources, pipelines are more burdened and last but not least the government has introducedsanctions - a fee on water loss.
system consists of a data logger, an inductive flow meter and a pressure transmitter. The data isstored in the memory unit. With the help of a GSM modem the archived data (daily) or alarm information(when the set parameters are breached) can be sent wirelessly to a designated location. With the analysis of information provided by individual data loggers deviations or differences in the flowand pressure at different time intervals ( night, ...)
information the initial state parameters for abnormal situations .
Depending on the data logger location we can quickly response and find the area that has to beimproved. The power supply can be adapted to the application location, the system can be grid, battery orsolar powered. Aqu ck and easy assembly provide good mobility of the system.

8 Mobile Flow Measurement
The TTP features technology to provide for a precise, and reliable ultrasonic clamp on flow and energymeter. Ultra TTP provides a low cost alternative to measuring flow rates with multiple advantages, mostnotably is the non-invasive, low costs installation.
Furthermore, the technology allows for no pressure head loss, no moving parts to maintain or replace, nofluid compatibility issue, and a bi-directional flow range that provides accurate readings at very low andvery high flow rates. The device is ideal for spot-checking and troubleshooting thanks to its portabledesign.
The TTP Flow meter measures eleven flow rates; acre-feet, meters, cubic meters, liters, million liters, kg,feet, gallons, cubic feet, million gallons, lbs. The energy meter measures in units of kWh, BTU, MBTU,Tons, kJ, Mwh ... .Ideal for spot checking remote area pipes or where verification is needed

The inductive flow meter in combination with measuring transmitter (output current 4-20mA and sumimpulses that can connect to a controller input) presents a reliable solution for flow measurements inpipelines. It is distinguished by a low price (esp with greater pipe diameters), an easy assembly withoutdraining the pipeline, without expensive constructive work, a great mobility, measurement low flowrate low power consumption and a universal application (one meter type fit many different pipediameters).

Measuring ransmittersT
Measuring transmitters convert electrical and non-electrical quantities (e.g. temperature – inputtemperature sensor or different current and voltage signals) into standard voltage and
current signals. We distinguish them either by their housing (independent housing or built inhousing, e.g. mounting inside the temperature sensor head) or their concept (with galvanicisolation of input/output/power or without galvanic isolation).
