&ewers, to whom was referred the estimate and report of the city engineer relative to the construction of lateral sewer iii district No. 20 (Wall street and Broadway), beg leave to report that they have had such estimate and report, as well as the resolution of the common council, under consideration and have made (Jue iu-(juiry relative thereto, and your committee is of the opinion tha t there is necessity for the construction of such lateral sewer, and tha t special taxing or assessment districts ouglit to be tixed bythe common couucil upoii ancl agaiust which the constructioB of such sewer may be charged, street cross-ings excepted, pursuant to the ordiuaJJce in such casQ made and provided.
Your committee further recommends that resolutions fixing the boundaries of said district be prepared by the city engineer and the board of public woiks ordered to advertise for bids for coustruL-tion of above named 5e\\ er.
