A Prismis a transparent body often of glass and usually with triangular

ends, used for separating white light passed through it into aspectrum of for reflecting beams of light

A Spectrumis the set of colors into which a beam of light can be separated.

The colors of the spectrum - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo,violet - can be seen when white light is passed through a prism.

The Plano Prism Concertfeatures all of Plano’s large groups, including all four concert

bands, the marching band, the jazz ensemble, the PanCats Steel DrumBand, as well as many exciting and fun chamber ensembles.

Tonight you will hear from a Genie & a Phantom, bear witness to ouraward winning jazz ensemble, & visit the land of make-believe. A Little

Blues on a Train will give you a Strange sense of Humorand if so bold, even The Flintstones will Dance above and Beneath

the mind of one of our own. The grand finale features the nationally acclaimed, award-winning Wildcat Marching Band in a final bid farewell to our honored senior class. We pay our respect to our

graduating class and their parents and friends with performances ofGrandioso, School Song, and The Fight Song

The Hype, Plano Band WayWhat is behind the hype? What is this hype you’re referring to?

Am I…hyped?

The hype? Why Plano Wildcat hype of course! People try to remain calm, but to no avail.

The spirit grows within you, building from the inner core, a flow, a fire, a wildcat empire!

The hype you see, the hype you hear, the hype you feel is what binds us together as Plano Wildcats.

For our traditions soar, our student’s roar, and our hands show four. THAT is the hype we cry out for.

Ask if you’re hype, the answer is yes! Maroon is the dress, but let me guess…

you’re thinking excess? No not at all, no need to suppress.

We are the Plano Wildcats, no less, no mess, just ready to impress.

Our roar they will hear, our spirit severe, so believe the hype for it is near.

Besides, who would’ve “thunk” we were Shakespeare.

We hope to see you support our graduating Wildcats through and through.
