Plan Vivo Technical Advisory Group February 2014
The Plan Vivo Technical Advisory Group is composed of experts in community-based natural resource management, ecosystem services quantification and monitoring, and the development of rural livelihood programmes. The Group will provide elements of quality control in the application of Plan Vivo System, and contribute to the ongoing development of the Plan Vivo Standard through providing guidance and technical oversight.
Specific functions are to:
• Peer review technical documents from existing and potential Plan Vivo projects • Provide recommendations on technical requirements in the Plan Vivo Standard and
how they should be applied in practice • Contribute to the development of tools and methodologies to support Plan Vivo
projects
Members of the Group will be requested to participate in the peer review of technical project documents that correspond to their area of expertise, to attend annual meetings to discuss issues and priorities, and to provide recommendations on technical issues as they arise. Group members provide guidance and technical support in a personal capacity and their views are not necessarily representative of the views of their affiliate organisation/employer. Committee The Technical Advisory Group will include a core Committee, which will assist the Foundation in coordinating peer reviews of project technical documents, and coordinating consultation on technical elements of the Plan Vivo Standard and system. Applications If you are interested in joining the Plan Vivo Technical Advisory Group, or would like to recommend someone else, please contact the Plan Vivo Foundation ([email protected]).
