Following a perfect harvest our Pinot Gris
was hand harvested on April the 6th 2016.
All the fruit was de-stemmed and crushed
to the press.
The pressed juice was then cold settled
before racking to stainless steel tanks.
The fermentation was stopped retaining a
touch of residual sugar.
Ta s t i n g N o t e s
Pale straw with clear hues. The nose is
lifted with ripe pear, stone fruit, citrus
and ginger.
The palate shows ripe pear, sweet peach,
apricot, melon and a hint of ginger honey.
This wine is weighty with an opulent
mouthfeel and a nice line of acidity that
leads into a long finish with a hint of flint.
