Anyone in the North Down, Ards and Down
District areas who would like to partici-
pate in a variety of cross-community good
relations projects
People involved in their local community
who would like support to organise their
own cross-community activities for adults
and young people.
Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are
more important than experience or skills.
Our programmes are informal and will
help you gain confidence, necessary
knowledge and new skills.
There are separate programmes for
young people and adults of all
ages as well as inter-generational ones.
We hope the Glebe House Project will
be of benefit to YOU,
Your local community or organisation
and
To the wider community in North
Down, Ards and Down
Glebe House is owned and managed by Harmony
Community Trust. It is a unique and special place for
children, young people and adults, from Ireland, north
and south, and all over the world.
Since 1975 groups have been coming to Glebe House
for a week, two weeks, a weekend, or a day, to live,
work, learn, and while here discover that life can be
interesting, rewarding, and more fun than the
labels that get stuck on us.
We work for a peaceful, fair, inclusive society that
respects and cherishes each person's humanity,
dignity, aspirations, ideas and needs. One where each
person can determine and re-create their own
identity, rather than conform to sectarian, national,
ethnic, racial or social stereotypes, myths or stigmas.
At Glebe House people of all ages share, create and
renew friendships.
