• Any background information is given.

Rising Action• The events that lead up to the

conflict.

• Hints that there is about to be a problem.

Climax• Most intense moment in the story.• The conflict is presented.

Falling Action• What events happen to try & solve

the problem?

• Questions that we had earlier are now getting answered.

Resolution• Ending of the story.

• Did they live happily ever after?
