THESIS
ABSTRACTCONCEPTNONFINITO
“A design object is a joint effort of many people from different specific technical, industrial, commercial and aesthetic skills. The work of the designer is a summary expression of this collective work. “
A. Castiglioni
AbstractThe university is for young people who experience it a sort of passage rite: not only about relationship with the study and professors, but above all the student will assume responsibility for a permanent lifestyle choice. This may be true for most students, the so-called off-site, the rite of passage is complicated by another, not insignificant, component: the removal from the family home and moving to a different city. Sense of freedom and precarious are linked in a phase where they build a new sense of belonging, which is made of new social relations, but also of where and how these relationships occur, the different ways in which these sites be-long to those who live there. This thesis has the burden of analyzing the evolution of living from the war to our days and to link these phenomena to the off-site students lifestyle. At first is necessary to distinguish the meaning of the term “living” than the “home”.The first indicates the relationship that exists between people and space, while the second refers to all sites relating to housing functions. So here justified the new way of living that is shown during the exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape, in fact they tried to link housing and public spaces in housing units that contain both functions. It’ s also possible to identify four areas of living: private, semi-private, public and semi-public.Nowadays you can see that the advent of reality-shows and the replacement of the exterior walls with glass panels has led to ever-increasing publicity of private spaces.Instead, you can see that the advancement of technology has made it increa-singly necessary to move outside the home, which becomes a place of work and meeting, this leads to a relentless privatization of public spaces. The movement and the constant need to live a more flexibly to diverse needs, leading to the search for a temporary dwelling. The lifestyle of the college students, particularly university-residences are the most common examples of nomadism. The university home is a point of re-ference to the students, albeit for a short period, it is identified as a residence, but often do not fully meet the needs of the student.

TESIDI LAUREA
ConceptOn the basis of previous research, kicks off a debate design that meets the requirements relating to the student way of living away from home, based on concepts of mobility and adaptability. This type of student can find in the university-residence the same fixity of his home, albeit for a limited time, in contrast with the mobility that characterizes their conditions. It is therefore necessary that they can take the places of resi-dence semi-interactive, allowing the user to fit their needs or at least to those of a group of people always different, through the use of specially designed pieces of furniture. This padded must be modeled to allow the widest variety of users, takinga temporary configuration, despite maintainingits permanent identity. It must be composed of modular furniture, but all tied together, simulating the relationship between building and user is in a university residence. The number of configurations will always be temporary, as if to mark the passage of the flow of people.ww

THESISNONFINITO
The seat, is made of polyurethane foam with different densities, the lower to the outside and more inside. Finishing is made painting directly the polyure-thane with a paint called © Finflex, which creates a kind of waterproof and flame retardant skin, but retains the properties of the foam. The polyurethane block is supported on a base in PP, thermoplastic material 100% recyclable and having a great strength. The base is atta-ched to the main piece with feet that fit both the base and the seat, tying them together. The addition of the foot in this material and its conformation allows the seat to be moved easily and without damaging surfaces.
The extension is the middle part which is loca-ted between two seats, it allows blocks to de-part but never being completely separated. The extension is made from sheets of felt, thanks to the special conformation that acqui-res, implements at the time of closing a bellows effect which spend a large amount of air throu-gh the material cleaning it from any dust parti-cles. The layers of felt are sewn in a honeycomb pattern, and are specifically used 42 sheets of 430x900 mm.This part can stretch to more than one meter to make second bends around its vertical axis 90 ° and 180 ° around the horizontal axis.
THESISNONFINITO
The extension and the seat will be held togetherby a layer of velcro. The Velcro will be applied at the time of sale, the extension cord, but only the male will be sewn to it, while the female will be adhesive so it can be glued to the polyurethane. This will greatly simplified the maintenance of the hound itself, since the female is the one that ten-ds to spoil more easily, is much easier to remove it because it is simply stuck.

Wagner’s concept of “total work of art”, inspi-red the project idea to create objects that create sounds being in motion, trying to totally revolu-tionize the idea of static sound, but not for his act of procreation. Here come the three objects Bho Bros., BHO, BHO Stick and B. Stick 1 / 2, which produce a rotating whistle, more or less sweet.

Small and attractive, in shape resembles an air-plane engine, used as a common bola juggling to make sure that the air is channeled into the small nozzles that produce the sound.
The BhoStick is basically a stick juggling. The rotary motion creates a vacuum at both ends, which causes a flow of air from the inside out.Moving the air inside the tubes creates turbulen-ce and leads to a melodic sound, almost natural.
Has the same function, B. Stick 1 / 2, which is none other than the reduced version of Bho Stick.

If until now the large family of abstract games has been weighed down by the stereotype of the game to keep in a drawer to be used only when we can not go to a playground now has become a game to take with if at any time .
