Mobile Responsive Rapid DevelopmentIn partnership with Adobe, we created a mobile-responsive demo course to help showcase what Captivate 2017 could do when it was released to the public.
This software training course is embedded within two employee stories. Users follow a “choose your own adventure” format to immerse themselves in each employee’s day as they learn the features of the new tool. The training is visually and functionally adept for any device.
MetaMythicGamified Compliance Training in a Fictional WrapperClients frequently come to us looking for ways to make compliance training more palatable and effective. In partnership with MetaMythic, we helped to create a gamified solution to a high-stakes problem: new cyber-security standards for the US power grid due to the FERC imposing $1M/day fines for incidents of non-compliance.
The solution itself is embedded within a story about an alien robot attack. The trainee becomes a recruit in the defense of Earth, chooses a call-sign, learns the backstory, and must learn CIP standards to defend their utility and, ultimately, Earth.
The first 1,200 recruits to go through the training indicated that as compared to normal engagement (4%) they were 83% engaged.
This project won two Brandon Hall Awards (Gold and Silver), a Learning Technologies Award, and the 2016 Learning Design Challenge (Bronze).

Safety and Security Microlearning VideosNowadays, learners expect to receive what they need, right when they need it. They also have a much more discerning eye when it comes to media.
In partnership with PayPal, we helped to develop a suite of microlearning pieces to familiarize employees with the key programs and services PayPal has put in place to support employee safety and security. Each microlearning piece is a highly-animated motion graphic video that communicates the key points of what would have otherwise been dry policy reading and job aids. This product won the Best Onboarding/Employee Orientation Solution at the 2017 FocusOn℠ Learning’s DemoFest℠.
