Our Lady of the Mountains Parish
Giving Tree was a great success in
gathering and sharing Christmas gifts
for families and children in need this
Christmas. Thank you to the many
generous parishioners who provided
toys, games, clothing and other items
for contribution to Bright Christmas
and Crossroads Ministry for needy
Estes Park families. The compassion-
ate response of Parishioners permitted
additional gift donations to a commu-
nity women’s shelter. The Knights of
Columbus Council thanks you for
supporting this worthy mission!
With the help of our volunteers and
parishioners, we were able to raise over
$1,400 for Chase Murray during the
bake sale last weekend. A huge
THANK YOU to the volunteers who
gave their time to help organize the sale
at each Mass, and to the parishioners
who generously donated the wonderful
variety of baked goods. Your support
made this benefit a big success!
Pat Miranda, Chair
Please keep Seminarian Christopher
Considine in your prayers as he will be
ordained a transitional Deacon in March
2019. Christopher is the son of our
parishioner, Clifford Considine.
RCIA
Rite of Christian initiation for Adults
The members of Our Lady of the Mountains
RCIA program ask your prayers of interces-
sion as they discern God's call to enter into
full communion in the Holy Catholic
Church. We are grateful for your spiritual
support.
May God shower His graces and blessings
on us all this Christmas season.
James: Pearls for Wise Living
James is one of the most practical
books of the Bible. Its teachings speak
loudly to those who feel torn between
the competing demands of this world
and their faith.
This study offers “pearls for wise
living” by applying the wisdom of
James to our current day. For anyone
who has struggled to live a truly
Christian life, James offers a wealth
of practical solutions for handling, and
even sanctifying, everyday
circumstances.
Join us for James: Pearls for Wise
Living at Our Lady of the Mountains,
Lower Level, beginning January 13th
at 11:20 a.m. and continuing
every Sunday. For more information
or to register for the study, we will
have a sign up December 15th after
each Mass – or email Deacon George
New Envelopes for 2019 have arrived.
