DearMercyFamilies,WELCOMEBACKtoOurLadyofMercyCatholicSchoolfor2019-20!Ihopeeveryonehadarestfulandrelaxingsummer,filledwithopportunitiestogettogetherandspendtimewithfamilyandfriends.Thefirstdayofschoolisjustaroundthecornerandwewelcomeallourstudents,thosereturningandthosejustjoiningus.Theybringjoyandlifetoourcampus!Theenthusiasmandenergyofthestudents,parents,andfacultythatstoppedbytovisitthissummerarecontagious.Thevisionforourschoolhasnotchanged.Wewillcontinueourfocusedworkwithfaith-filledandacademicprograms.OurfacultyandadministrativeteamworkedthroughoutthesummerdesigningengagedlessonsandattendingprofessionaldevelopmentconferencestoplanmanyexcitingandinspiringeducationalandspiritualactivitiesforourOLOMcommunity.Mygoalisalwaystoworkwithyouandourfacultytoprovideyourchildwiththebestopportunitiesofsuccess.Ilookforwardtothecomingyearandamcommittedtogivingmybesttoyou,toourChurch,andtoourschool.Ourthemefortheschoolyearis,“Serveoneanotherthroughlove”(Galatians5:13).Godcallseachofustoloveandtoserve.WewillfocusonthisthemethroughouttheyearinourMasses,retreats,anddailyprayers.Itisalwayswonderfultoseeanewyearreadytobegin,especiallynowthatwehavespentoneyearinournewlowerschoolbuildingandopening,newgym,andfield/playgroundforourstudents.Thisallowsustoupdatetheoldgymfortheaterperformancesandassembliesandadd80parkingspotsofthenorthsideofcampus.Ilookforwardtoseeingeveryoneoncampus,volunteeringwheneverpossible.Wetrustyouwillcontinuetoworkwithusaswebuildonthegreatfoundationofthepastandlooktoafuturefilledwithhope.WeremainingreatgratitudeforyourcommitmentandsupportofOurLadyofMercycommunity.Thankyouinadvanceforyourgiftsoftime,talent,andtreasure.Pleasekeepourstaffandschoolcommunityinyourconstantprayers,asweworkeachdaydoingGod’swork.
