Stewardship Not Easy
“For his sake I have accepted the loss of all things
and I consider them so much rubbish, that I may
gain Christ…” (Philippians 3:8b)
Stewardship is not easy. Learning to detach our-
selves from our material possessions and seeing
them as ”rubbish” is an important step in growing
closer to Jesus Christ. Then we are able to give
more freely and joyfully.
Taizé Prayer Service
Friday, March 22, 2013 7:00 p.m.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish
at St. Luke Church Please join us in an evening of songs and praise,
a meditative prayer in a Taizé prayer setting. Gathered in
the presence of Christ, we sing uncomplicated repetitive
songs, uncluttered by too many words, allowing the
mystery of God to become tangible through beauty of
simplicity.
This ecumenical service welcomes everyone along with
various Church choirs of the Camden Diocese. Let us
join our hearts together in moments of silence and
offering petitions to the Cross of Christ.

Prayer for the Church in Time of Transition
O God of steadfast love, we ask you to sustain your holy
Church in this time of change.
We acknowledge our fears and hopes as we face an
uncertain future.
Draw us ever closer to you, our rock of safety, and bring
us together in unity as we await your call of another to
serve in Peter’s ministry.
Strengthen us with your blessed assurance that your
Spirit of Wisdom will guide the cardinals in their
discernment of a successor to Benedict XVI.
Give us all a renewed hope in your abiding presence
among us.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen
CONGRATULATIONS!
