• Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHAD)
– Established in February 2010
– Competent authority for OSH issues in Abu Dhabi Emirate
– Supervises the implementation of the Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health System Framework.
– Work closely with International bodies on OSH Issues

• Part of the center’s strategic objectives includes an ongoing programme of public awareness campaigns around specific OSH-related topics.

This program focuses on the notion that employees must bear responsibility for their
mistakes. Not following safety regulations leads to unfortunate results and accidents that might
harm the employee himself or his colleague.
