Paris MoU on Port State Control
Over the past 35 years the chairman of the PSC Committee has played an important role in directing the meeting. In the first 15 years the chairman was designated by the host country of the PSC Committee meeting.
In 1997 Mr. Odd Vollene (Norway) was the first elected chairman of the PSC Committee. In 1999 he was succeeded by Mr. Alan Cubbin (United Kingdom) and since 2006 Mr. Brian Hogan (lreland) has been chairman of the Committee.
