Congratulations to our Pre Primary students for the wonderful assembly item this morning Led and
nurtured by our wonderful staff at Wanslea the children did a brilliant job of running the assembly and
entertaining us with their circus skills Well done Mrs Campbell Miss Frame Mrs Corrie and Mrs Donnelly
and bravo to all the children
Open Night
It was fabulous to be part of the wonderful atmosphere around the school at our Open Night last night
Students excitedly guided parents through their rooms and took them on a journey to show their learning
The children demonstrated both pride and engagement The musical performances by our choirs band
and year 5 tuned percussion group at the end of the evening was a wonderful way to round off the night
During the morning today students have visited each otherrsquos classrooms to view the wonderful work on
display This was an opportunity for our younger students to see what goes on in the older classes and for
the older students to relive their early primary years
Production
A highlight of our school year is undoubtedly the year 6 Production and what a great event it was again this
year
It is wonderful to see our students grow and develop as part of this experience From young people who
were a little afraid and unsure if they will be good enough to the coherent supportive cast who were
confident and proud it is a real journey The hard work resilience skills and experiences which come from
performances like these are life lessons and the memories made will remain strong for many years to
come A huge congratulation to the students and staff led by the talented Mrs Arnold
