Land Act, 1933-1965.ORDER IN COUNCIL.

Corres. 4753/65.WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act,1933-1965, it is inter alia, made lawful for theGovernor to direct that any land -reserved pur-suant to the provisions of the Act be leasedfor the purpose for which the land is reserved asaforesaid, by Instrument of Lease in the form ofthe Fourth Schedule of the Act to any person (asdefined in the said Section); and whereas it isdeemed expedient that Swan Location 7980, beingportion of Reserve No. 28400 (Swan Locations 7979and 7980), shall be leased for a term of four yearsto the Commonwealth of Australia, to be held intrust for the purpose of "Migrant Hostel": nowtherefore, His Excellency the Governor, by andwith the advice and consent of the ExecutiveCouncil, (loth hereby direct that the portion ofabovementioned reserve shall be leased to theCommonwealth of Australia, to be held in trust forthe purpose of "Migrant Hostel", for a term offour years at a peppercorn rental.

Corres. 688/32.WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act, 1933-1965, it is inter alia, made lawful for the Governorby Order in Council, to direct that any landreserved pursuant to the provisions of this Actshall be granted in fee simple to any person (asdefined in the said section) subject to the con-dition that the person shall not lease or mortgagethe whole or any part of the land without theconsent of the Governor and subject to such otherconditions and limitations as the Governor shalldeem necessary to ensure that the land is usedfor the purpose for which the land is reserved asaforesaid; and whereas it is deemed expedient thatReserve No. 23407 (Port Hedland Lot 226) should,subject as aforesaid, be granted in fee simple toThe Roman Catholic Bishop of Geraldton, to beheld in trust for "Church Purposes (RomanCatholic)": Now, therefore, His Excellency, theGovernor, by and with the advice and consent ofthe Executive Council, doth hereby direct that thebeforementioned reserve shall be granted in feesimple to the aforesaid body, to be held in trust forthe aforesaid purpose, subject to the conditionsthat the land shall not be leased or mortgaged inwhole or in part without the consent of theGovernor.

WHEREAS by the Forests Act, 1918-1964, it is pro-vided that a dedication under the said Act ofCrown land as a State Forest may be revoked inwhole or in part in the following manner:

(a) The Governor shall cause to be laid on theTable of each House of Parliament a pro-posal for such revocation.

(b) After such proposal has been laid beforeParliament the Governor, on a resolutionbeing passed by both Houses that suchproposal be carried out, shall by Order inCouncil revoke such dedication.

And whereas His Excellency the Governor didcause to be laid on the Table of each House ofParliament his proposal, dated the 13th day ofOctober, 1965, for the revocation in part of thededication of Crown lands as State Forest; andwhereas after such proposal had been laid before


Parliament a resolution was passed by both Housesthat such proposal should be carried out: Now,therefore, His Excellency the Governor, with theadvice and consent of the Executive Council, dothhereby revoke in part the dedication of Crownland as State Forests Nos. 14 and 37 by excisingthose portions of such State Forests as are de-scribed in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS by the Country Towns Sewerage Act,1948-1964, it is provided that before undertakingthe construction of Water Works, the Ministershall submit plans, descriptions, books of referenceand estimates of the proposed works to the Gover-nor for approval; and that if they are approvedthe Governor may forthwith, by Order in Council,empower the Minister to undertake the construc-tion of the proposed works; Now, therefore, HisExcellency the Governor with the advice of theExecutive Council, doth hereby approve of theplans, descriptions, books of reference and esti-mates marked on Plan P.W.D., W.A. 43509 Draw-ing No. 1, Sheet No. 1, for the Construction of theAlbany Sewerage Reticulation Area No. 22 whichwas duly submitted for approval and hereby em-powers the Minister to undertake the constructionof the said works.

(x) Membership by examination of Institute of Quantity Surveyors (Aust.) or equivalent qualifications by examination.(y) First three years of Diploma in Cartography at the Perth Technical College, or approved equivalent, plus at least

Notice of intention to Borrow.Proposed Loan (No. 66)—$4,000.00.

PURSUANT to section 610 of the Local Govern-ment Act, 1960, the Kellerberrin Shire Councilhereby gives notice that it proposes to borrowmoney, by the sale of debentures, on the followingterms and for the following purpose:—$4,000.00for a period of 20 years, with interest not exceed-ing the rate of $6.00 per cent. per annum, repay-able at the office of the Kellerberrin Shire Council,Kellerberrin, by 40 equal half-yearly instalmentsof principal and interest.. Purpose: Improvementson reserve 15593 (Golf club house extensions).

It is intended that under the terms of an agree-ment between the Kellerberrin Shire Council andthe Kellerberrin Golf Club, the club shall receivethe proceeds of the loan and shall meet the repay-ments of principal and interest in 40 half-yearlyinstalments, each instalment being sufficient tomeet the annual repayments of principal andinterest on the proposed loan as and when suchinstalments fall due. No rating will therefore benecessary.

Preliminary Restrictions.Apples.

Domestic.—All Domestic grade is prohibitedfrom sale as from 1st January, 1967 to31st August, 1967.

Cookers.—All varieties of apples sold asCooker grade must be 2-1 inches in sizeor larger and except for maturity mustcomply with fancy grade.

Pears.Domestic.—All Domestic grade is prohibited

from sale as from 1st January, 1967 to31st August, 1967.

Bartletts.—Bartlett pears under 2 13s inchesin size are prohibited from sale before 1stFebruary, 1967.

A person shall not sell, except for the purposeof export from the State, any apples or pears ofwhich the sale is, pursuant to the provisions ofthis section, prohibited, and any person who con-travenes the provisions of this section commits anoffence.
