DIRECTIONS: Cut out each sheet of the colored construction paper that you collected into 1” squares. Put them aside. Lay an 11”x 17” piece of black construction paper flat on a table. Then begin placing your colored construction paper squares on the black construction paper. Use the number chart above to identify each color. Beginning at the middle point, work your way to the outside edge by placing the squares flush, next to the last. As you are placing the colored squares, ad a dot of glue and secure into place. When you have completed the image, let dry.
TRY THIS ACTIVITY with felt or porcelain bathroom tiles, painted to tone!
YOU WILL NEED: Black 11”x 17” construction paper, multiple colors of 8.5”x 11” pieces of construction paper, ruler, scissors.
