Large numbers of motorhomes coming to
Mull can create difficulties on our narrow
roads and parking places. So please:
• Camp only at the appropriate camp sites
on the map overleaf.
• Plan ahead – contact the site prior to
arrival to ensure there is space for you.
• Please do NOT empty chemical toilet
waste anywhere except at the waste
disposal sites shown overleaf. Public
toilets are not suitable locations.
• Do not start fires unless in an approved
area.
• Please clear litter, even if it’s not yours.
• Respect our wildlife and environment.
• Do not obstruct entrances, passing
places or homes.
• Beware of soft verges and stay on
tarmac.
• Drive as slowly as you wish, but please
let traffic behind pass you.

In particular, please note that there is no
such thing as “wild camping” in Scotland in a
motorhome or campervan. The Scottish
Outdoor Access Code specifically excludes
motorised access. This means that if you are
parking in an area out-with established
campsites you do not have permission to
stay there and you may be asked to leave by
the landowner.
