Executive Director, Mending Hearts Sign up at the News & Notes table
Mending Hearts is an organization that provides shelter for women who struggle with severe chemical dependency and mental health issues. They need personal hygiene items as well as gently used twin sheets, comforters, towels, and household goods. Many of these women will be going through a parenting program and could use children's items as well. Leave donations on the table near the admin offices.

YOUNG AT HEARTInner City Ministry is embarking on a new era of serving the underprivileged in
Nashville. A recently purchased headquarters building will provide space for needed expansion and new work with the children of our inner city. You’ll be excited to hear the new plans and see the new facilities as Larry Cantrell brings us up to date at our next “Young at Heart” meeting this Tuesday at noon. Larry is the vice president for development at Inner City and will make a presentation (not a fundraiser) about their plans for the future. Hillsboro partners with Inner City on Monday nights to provide learning centers for these children. You’ll be glad you came. —Randall Pardue
