Rabbit anti-Connexin 45 (C-term)
Immunogen:Synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of the mouse, rat, Chinese hamster, and golden hamster connexin 45 protein.
Specificity:Specific for the C-terminal region of the connexin 45 (Cx45, GJA7, gap junction alpha-7) protein. On western blots, it identifies the target bands at ~45 and 50 kDa. The band at ~50 kDa represents the phosphorylated form of the protein, while a band observed at ~35 kDa represents a breakdown product in overexpressed cells.
Reactivity: Mouse (positive controls: brain homogenates, Cx45-transfected HeLa cell lysates, frozen brain and retina tissues). Based on sequence homology, reactivity with rat, Chinese and golden hamster is expected.
Applications: Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry (frozen).
Storage: Store at 2-8°C for up to one month. Store at -20°C for long-term storage. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Rabbit anti-Connexin 57 (C-term)
Immunogen:Synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of the mouse connexin 57 protein, which differs from rat by 2 amino acids and from dog connexin 62 by 1 conservative and 1 non-conservative amino acid replacement.
Specificity:Specific for the C-terminal region of the connexin 57 (Cx57) protein. On western blots, it identifies the target bands at ~57 and 64 kDa. Immunogen:Synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of mouse ZONAB (ZO-1 associated nucleic acid-binding protein, ZONAB A (long isoform) and B (short isoform), cold shock domain protein A (CSDA), DNA-binding protein A (DBPA), RNA binding protein MSY4, or Y-box protein 3).
Specificity:Specific for an internal region of the ZONAB protein. On western blots, it identifies the target band at ~30 kDa.
Reactivity:Rat, Mouse (positive controls: C6 cell lysates, mouse liver and brain (thalamus) homogenates, frozen mouse liver (hepatocytes) and thalamus (oligodendro-cytes) tissues).
Applications:Western blotting, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry (frozen).
