Playlists TASK: Create a playlist to upload into the Hwb

Use the Playlist tool to aggregate content into a resource that can be share in the community.
• The main screen provides all of the options to edit-‐ start by clicking on the pencils to edit text.
• Edit the banner image by clicking on the grey square
• You can find the Playlist tool in the top tool bar which is viewable once you log in. Clicking on the Playlist icon will take through to another screen and the Playlist tool.
• Click ‘create new’ in the top right hand corner to create a resource.

• The tool bar on the right hand side allows you to add existing Hwb resources, Google search results, YouTube links, Encyclopedia Britannica information, Image Quest pictures or any other URL you think would be useful. Click on the relevant icon and type into the search bar. All relevant results will appear. You can access the result by clicking on the blue arrow.
• Drag and drop items into the playlist and re order them by dragging them into the order you would like them to appear.
• You can preview your playlist at any time to view your steps.
The preview will show each step in your playlist as a separate screen, just as the playlist would appear. Text in the banner at the top is fully editable and can be changed by clicking on the pencil on the step.

• A new page can be added to the playlist by selecting the blue icon at the top right of the page.
• From here, you can either 1. Add a quiz 2. Add a page
• Once you have selected a page type,
the box below will appear. You will be able to edit the content and the image here.
Once a page has been added, the information can be edited and the step will appear in the playlist editor as above.
The image you upload here will appear where the grey shaded areas are on the page templates. You can view the pages by selecting the preview button.

Sharing Playlists There are three ways to share a playlist.
1. Copy and share the link 2. Share to a network 3. Share/publish to the Hwb
Attaching files to playlist pages • You can add your own files to playlist pages by
creating a new page. • Select the template you would like and add it to the
playlist. • Underneath the content and image editors you will
now see a drag and drop box to add your file
• Your file will appear with an editable name
• Your file will appear as a downloadable attachment on the page, along with your image and content.
