Welcome
Welcome to the Sioux County 4-H program. We are so happy to have you be a part of our 4-H Family. As
Extension staff it is our job to help provide opportunities for people to gain hands on learning in a variety of
areas and gain life skills. The 4-H program is for youth between the ages of 5 and 18. Youth who are 8 as of
January 1st are eligible to participate in the Sioux County Fair contests and shows. Youth who are between the
ages of 5 and 7 are considered Clover Kids. They are able to still participate and bring projects to fair on a
non-competitive level. These youth also have their own monthly activities. 4-H is a family affair, parents are
encouraged to work with the youth on their projects at home and to become involved in a club. Parents can
also serve on a committee or as a fair volunteer. Please contact Melissa for more information about how you
can get involved.
