• A solid surface material Is every material that fullfil the requirements established by the International Code ISO 19712, and pass the tests required by the ISSFA (International Solid Surface Fabricators Association).
• Some of the requirements are: Must be compacted materials, with no pores and with homogeneous features in the entire thickness of the surfacing material Must be able to join several pieces being seamless Must resist a wide range of chemical products and cleaning products
• The Solid Surface Materials started 40 years ago The principal applications were for bathrooms, kitchens and decoration

• 25% high quality acrylic resin• 75% Tri-hydrate of Alumina• Several colors and designs available• It can be thermoformed• Adhesive for each color. So, if we have 60 colors, we have 60 different glues• Seamless with adhesive• With some surface treatments, we can get different finishes like shiny or matt• There is a type of translucent solid surfacing called LUX LIGHT. It can be back lighted and get an amazing look• Carving the material, we can backlight it and the carved areas will light up In case of breakage or deep scratches, possibility to repair it, and achieve the original looking
